  2. This ARC file contains the OFFICIAL demo version of Calamus, the
  3. premier Desktop Publishing Package for the Atari ST and MEGA.  To run
  4. this demo you need a system with a minimum of 1 meg of RAM and double
  5. sided disk drive.

  7. Enclosed with this README file should be the following files:

  9.   CALAMUS.PRG
  10.   CALAMUS.SET
  11.   DOCUMENT.ARC
  12.   FONTS.ARC
  13.   PICTURES.ARC
  14.   PRINTER.ARC
  15.   SYS.ARC

  17. To create a working Calamus Demo Disk:
  18.  
  19.  1) De-arc this file.
  20.  2) Create a folder called SYS and De-arc SYS.ARC into it.
  21.  3) Create a folder called FONTS and De-arc FONTS.ARC into it.
  22.  4) Create a folder called PRINTER and De-arc PRINTER.ARC into it.
  23.  5) Create a folder called DOCUMENT and De-arc DOCUMENT.ARC into it.
  24.  6) Create a folder called PICTURES and De-arc PICTURES.ARC into it.

  26. You should end up with a disk with the following contents:

  47. Included on the disk is a sample print file.  To print it you need a
  48. system with a minimum of 2 megs of RAM and the Atari SLM804 laser
  49. printer.  This demo version of Calamus is fully functional, with the
  50. exception that the saving of documents has been disable.
